On Saturday, January 19th the Shops at Valley Square hosted its first Fire and Ice Festival. Despite the call for incoming heavy snow, turnout was spectacular! The crowd of 800+ was entertained by live ice carving demos and a fire breather along with performances by Elsa from Frozen, a stilt walker and a strolling Olaf. Everyone took advantage of delicious free hot chocolate and train rides while children were kept busy with seasonal crafts. The stores and restaurants enjoyed a surge of shoppers as people decided to enjoy lunch and visit the various clearance sales while onsite for the festival.
