The Avenue Viera hosted a September 11th Open House Memorial Event at their World Trade Center Memorial site on Wednesday, September 11th. The center is home to a seven-foot-long, one-ton steel beam that was recovered from the rubble of the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001. During this year’s memorial, the Management Team made fresh flowers and American flags available for guests to pay their respects to the fallen. There was also a video playing that showed how the World Trade Center Beam made its way to the Space Coast. The Open House allowed guests to visit any time during center hours – before or after work – at their convenience.
