Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2017 Light The Night Walk

The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley hosted LLS’s Light the Night walk, bringing over 2,000 participants and supporters to the Center. Free activities were set up in the parking lot of the AMC Movie Theater prior to the start of the walk for attendees to enjoy such as live music, face painting, free food and beverage courtesy of Wawa and Red Robin, and games and giveaways.

The event kicked off with opening remarks by Jim Ryan, CEO of Red Robin/Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group, following personal stories of perseverance by survivors and their families.

This touching event illuminated Center Valleys’ skyline at dusk with survivors, supporters and those remembering lives lost to cancer with brightly colored lanterns in hand. After the walk, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society continued to light the night with an amazing fireworks display to end the evening.

LLS raised more than $360, 000 for the cause!
