The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley hosted its annual Halloween Dance Party event on Saturday, October 28 from 12PM to 3PM. The event began with live music on the outdoor patio outside of AMC Theater from 12PM – 1PM.
Roughly 600 people, comprised of kids in costume accompanied by their parents, came out to party with us for this hit event! The first 100 children to attend received a coupon for a free AMC popcorn, and adults received Yankee Candle discounts. Peeps and Company’s Mascot joined in on the fun and danced the afternoon away with all of our costumed guests. Peeps distributed 250 Halloween themed head-bands to guests.
All participants had an opportunity to enter-to-win a variety of kid-friendly prizes during the dance party. Eight lucky children won prizes, including Fuzziwig’s candy bags and gift cards, and a grand prize of a free music lesson from the Community Music School, valued at $80. To make sure everyone received something fun and festive, we distributed 400 goodie bags to participants and provided complementary beverages, courtesy of Coca-Cola.
Following the dance party, The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley hosted a free outdoor photo booth, from 1PM – 3PM, perfect for remembering those awesome costumes. Merchants also held a slew of in-store promotions and Halloween activities throughout the day. Capital Blue held their own in-store Halloween party, with goodies, crafts and giveaways. Auntie Anne’s & Center Valley Creamery and Learning Express offered 20% off to anyone who came in costume. Barnes and Noble hosted a book fair and in-store “Monster Concert” with performances by students from the Community Music School. The store rolled out a baby-grand piano for their event that ended with a costume contest. Bar Louie continued the Halloween fun from 9 PM until close with their HalLOUween event. This adults only costume party featured wickedly-delicious witches brew sangria, a costume contest and prizes.
The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley had Halloween fun for everyone!
